The Cosmos

There are more stars in the sky than there are words or sounds that have ever been spoken.

If you don’t know me, for years I’ve had themes for the year that I had specifically focused on–topics that piqued my interest, like joy, beauty, magic, minimalism, and noticing. This year I picked “the cosmos”. Basically it’s a year where I will study and learn more about this topic.

Starting out, I’ve already read Indescribable by Louie Giglio and Matt Reddman, The Space Trilogy by C.S. Lewis, and the Narnia Code by Michael Ward. My wife and I are watching Lost In Space (Netflix series) for the 2nd time. I’m currently reading the Amulet series, and I’m excited for some upcoming books on the universe, the stars, the heavens, and the cosmos.

Here are a few links to blow your mind on God’s unsearchable greatness relating to the cosmos:

John Piper + Owl City

The Awe Factor of God – Francis Chan

Stars and Whales Sing How Great is Our God – Louie Giglio

Here are a handful of books I have in my pipeline that I want to read this year:

The Forgotten Heavens by Doug Wilson

The Story of the Cosmos by Daniel Ray and Paul Gould

Planet Narnia by Michael Ward

Curious what podcast I’m listening to?

Good Heavens by Daniel Ray and Wayne Spencer
